Belfast International Airport General Information
Situated 30 km northwest of Belfast, and serving over 3.7 million passengers a year, Belfast International Airport is the principal gateway to Northern Ireland. Among the airlines serving the airport is EasyJet, which offers low-cost flights Amsterdam and major centres in the UK. Trans-Atlantic charter flights to Florida are also available out of Belfast International.
There is just one terminal at the airport, with flights within the UK and charters to European and trans-Atlantic destinations all enjoying the centralised facilities. BIA offers a wide range of facilities to ensure journeys through the airport are relaxed and free of hassle.
There is a direct bus link between Belfast International Airport terminal and Europa Bus Centre, adjacent to the Europa Hotel in Great Victoria Street, Belfast (city centre). Cost of a single journey is £6. The Airbus service operates every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, and at 30 or 60 minute intervals on Sundays. Service operates between 0545 hrs and 2320hrs. Taxis are also plentiful and only those approved by BIA are permitted to use the taxi rank. A list of sample fares is displayed in the exit hall of the terminal building. Car Rental Collection Details
On collection of luggage proceed to exit door and use a public telephone to call free phone number 0800 0778 774 for immediate collection. Our staff will meet you & escort you to our office located nearby
On collecting your car, please have your reference number (see below) and your DRIVERS LICENCE (issued in your country of residence) and your CREDIT CARD (for security imprint).
You will complete and sign a rental contract. The car will be supplied with a full tank of petrol which is to be prepaid. Maps and touring assistance will be provided. Car controls will be demonstrated. Car return instructions will be provided.
