Dublin Port Harbour General Information
Ireland's main point of departure or arrival for the ferries to France, Wales and England, Rosslare Strand and Harbour is a town of B&B's and shops that open and close to according to the tides of ferries bringing in tourists. Locals, who always know the best spot, play on the sunny beach south of the harbour.
Rosslare Harbour is now the ferryport of choice for many passenger ferries, there are three ferry companies operating daily. Inn 2003 there were 1.2 Million and 320,000 passengers and vehicles handled through the port.

Tourist Information Office: There is no Tourist Office in the port, this was discontinued some years ago. The nearest Tourist information Office is located near the village of Kilrane on the N25 about 15 minutes walk away, or less than 3 minutes by car.
Bus Directions:
Dublin Port, close to the city centre, is served by a local bus (number 53). Bus Eireann operates services from Dublin's central bus station on Amien Street, to many areas across Ireland. Dublin Bus operates services in Dublin City and County. The Bus Information Office is in O'Connell St. You can buy timetables and get information on commuter and tourist tickets in shops throughout Dublin City and County.
Rail Directions: There is a train between Rosslare & Connolly station in Dublin. Please check the following site from ore information www.irishrail.ie
