• Drivers must produce an endorsement-free valid drivers license. (Some exceptions apply) Only drivers approved at time of rental are insured to drive the vehicle. They must have held a license for a minimum of two years.

• Drivers must be between the ages of 21 and 75 to rent a car.
  Drivers 21 - 24 and 70 - 75 are subject to an insurance surcharge.

• There is an extra charge per additional driver of EU7 per day.

• Child Seats may be rented for children weighing up to 40 lbs at a cost of €35 per rental

• Minimum rental period of 2 days. Please note that a minimum 7 day rental period will apply over the dates from 19th Dec 2004 to 4th Jan 2005. This is due to limited availability of vehicles.

• One way rentals are subject to a 3 day minimum rental charge. One way rentals and car drop off charges are not charged on three day rentals

• Cross Border Driving does not incur a charge unlike other car rental companies

• Unlike most other car rental companies Dooley Car Rentals do not charge a daily " Road Fund Surcharge"

• Cars can be reserved by group only and not by specific model. Similar or larger cars may be substituted, at the rental company's discretion.

• Personal accident insurance may be purchased to cover the driver for injury or death up to EU12,500 for EU6 per day.

• Excess liability of EU750 on Groups A - D and EU1000 on Groups E - Z can be insured from EU9 to EU12 daily.  Reduces Liability to Zero

• Value Added Tax (V.A.T.) in the Republic of Ireland is calculated at 13.5% and in Northern Ireland at 17.5%.

• A depot concession fee of €25 including tax will apply at all airports. A city suppliment of EU25 will apply at Dublin City Office 

• We allow a 2 hour grace period on return day. Any further time is calculated as a daily fee.
